Ulises Gomez is the Chief Financial Officer and partnered with Cindy as a principal of HeetWave Properties in January of 2019. With over 20 years of accounting/finance experience, Ulises has embraced the challenge of building the HeetWave accounting platform from the ground up including outlining and establishing best practices and drafting policies/procedures for our growing accounting department including control and auditing systems. Ulises is responsible for a plethora of duties including a/r, a/p, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and vendor/owner relationship building. Ulises ensures our financial operations and reporting is accurate current. He is responsive, honest, and ethical.

Prior to joining HeetWave Properties, Ulises was controller with Sunrise Management for 14 years. While at Sunrise Management, as a member of their executive team, Ulises was instrumental in setting up their finance department and oversight of the entire accounting team to help elevate the company’s growth from 4,000 units to 14,000 units across three states. Prior to joining Sunrise Management, he was controller with Gables Residential Services/Income Growth Property Management where he managed the financial and accounting operations for new and existing properties for the company, its affiliated partnerships and its fee-managed properties.

Mr. Gomez earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Information Systems from the Eller Business College of the University of Arizona in 1995. In 2004 he received his MBA in Accounting from San Diego State University, executive program.

When not working, Ulises enjoys gym workouts, spending time with his family, and traveling. His favorite vacations spots include Switzerland, Venice, and Munich. Ulises is an avid sports fan who loves basketball. Ulises enjoys poking fun at Cindy with their college rivalry of UofA vs ASU.
